Blase J. Kornacki is a partner in the firm’s business law practice. He advises clients on real estate transactions, mergers and acquisition transactions, entity formation, partnerships/LLC/corporate matters, financing transactions, securities regulation, and other transactional matters.

Prior to joining our firm, Blase's practice focused on corporate law and financial services. He was an associate at Cole-Frieman & Mallon LLP, a boutique financial services law firm in San Francisco, and at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, an international corporate law firm in Chicago. Throughout his career Blase has regularly advised clients on entity formation, reorganization, strategic planning, licensing issues, and various operational matters. His clients have included investment managers, private equity firms, real estate investors and developers, healthcare entities, biotech companies, and various startups and small businesses. He is also experienced in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and regulatory compliance matters.

Blase received his BA degree with a double major in Spanish and History from Colgate University and his law degree from American University Washington College of Law, where he was a member of the International Law Review.

Blase is admitted to practice law in California and Illinois (inactive) and is fluent in Polish and Spanish. Blase lives in San Francisco and when not in the office enjoys spending time outdoors, skiing, biking, hiking, and running.
